Recruitment Resourcer & Business Skills Coach/Tutor

๐ท Salary: ยฃ26,000 โ ยฃ28,000 (depending on experience and will be pro rata)

Are you experienced in business administration and recruitment โ are you passionate about developing others?
Weโre looking for a dynamic and learner-focused Skills Coach/Tutor to deliver high-quality training and assessment in Business Admin, Recruitment, and Customer Service apprenticeships. Youโll support apprentices from induction through to achievement, delivering engaging sessions and helping them grow in confidence and competence.
๐ Key Responsibilities
Training & Teaching
Deliver interactive, effective group and 1:1 training to apprentices
Support delivery of Functional Skills English and maths (up to Level 2)
Plan and deliver sessions that align with apprenticeship standards
Set clear learning objectives and support apprentices to meet challenging targets
Promote British Values, safeguarding awareness, and employability skills
Assessment & Progress
Conduct effective initial assessments and create Individual Learning Plans
Assess apprenticesโ portfolios and provide constructive, developmental feedback
Monitor and review learner progress through regular visits and e-portfolio updates
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely achievement of qualifications
Engagement & Achievement
Motivate and support learners to achieve qualifications and career goals
Build positive relationships with learners and employers
Drive excellent attendance, retention, and achievement rates
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment at all times
โ What Weโre Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
Recent (within 2 years) industry experience in business admin, recruitment or customer service
Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
Confident working with groups and individuals
Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage own diary
Competent with IT and online learning tools
Experience delivering to post-16 or adult learners
Experience working with apprentices and e-portfolios
Essential Qualifications
Minimum Level 2 English & maths
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Desirable (or willingness to work towards within 6 months)
TAQA or equivalent Assessor Qualification
Level 3 Teaching Qualification (e.g. AET)
Experience delivering Functional Skills
Experience coaching/mentoring in a training or educational setting
QTLS status (desirable, not essential)
