Working hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
💼 Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 FTE
(Actual salary for 4 days/week: approx. £20,480 – £23,893)

Join us as a Progression Coordinator, based at our specialist Building Futures centre, where we support young people pursuing careers in the construction industry—particularly in roofing. You’ll play a key role in shaping their futures by connecting them with exciting work placements, apprenticeships, and further education or training.

Your Role as a Progression Coordinator
Every day is a chance to make an impact! You’ll:
Champion Construction Learners: Work closely with learners on our construction programmes—especially those specialising in roofing—to understand their goals and connect them with relevant progression routes.
Build Employer Relationships: Develop strong partnerships with local roofing firms, construction companies, and wider trade networks to create a pipeline of quality work experience and employment opportunities.
Track & Celebrate Progress: Monitor and review student achievements regularly to ensure they stay motivated and on track.
Expand Your Network: Establish and maintain a network of at least 50 active employers, with a focus on construction-related industries.
Prioritise Safety: Conduct risk assessments to ensure all work placements are safe, supportive, and suitable for young learners.
Deliver Employability Sessions: Run engaging, practical employability workshops tailored to the construction sector.
Safeguard & Support: Champion learner well-being and promote Juniper’s core values in every interaction.
What You’ll Need
Essential:
Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths
Experience or understanding of the construction industry (desirable if specific to roofing)
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
A proactive, target-driven mindset
Desirable:
CEIAG Level 3/4 (or willingness to work towards)
Previous experience supporting young people or delivering employability guidance
Understanding of work-based learning and apprenticeship pathways
