Job Title: Vocational / Employability Tutor (Part-Time)
Location: Wednesbury Training Centre
Contract: Fixed-term until end of July
Working Pattern: 3 days per week (Wednesday & Thursday, plus one flexible day – Monday or Tuesday)
Salary: £15,600 – £18,000 per annum (£26,000 - £30,000 FTE)
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and engaging Vocational / Employability Tutor to join our team at our Wednesbury training centre on a part-time, fixed-term basis until the end of July.
In this role, you will support learners in developing the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to progress into employment, education, or further training. You will deliver high-quality sessions focused on employability skills, personal development, and vocational learning.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and interactive employability and vocational sessions
Support learners to develop key workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, and time management
Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Maintain accurate learner records in line with compliance requirements
Provide guidance and support to help learners achieve their goals and progress positively
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in delivering employability or vocational training
Passionate about supporting learners from a range of backgrounds
Confident in managing groups and engaging learners with varying needs
Organised, reliable, and able to work independently
Able to build positive relationships with learners and colleagues
Desirable:
Teaching or training qualification (e.g. AET, PTLLS or equivalent)
Experience working with young people or adults in a training or education setting
